APR Mid-Cycle Check-In

A mid-cycle check-in(link is external) takes place approximately five years after the issuance of the APR outcome letter.  This is to document progress toward addressing issues identified during the most recent review as well as to inform administrative leaders regarding new issues and/or opportunities. This will demonstrate to the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) that the campus has instituted a continual cycle of assessment and improvement for the university’s degree programs.

Units are requested to address the following:

APR FOLLOW-UP ACTIVITIES

  • Briefly describe the follow-up activities listed on your Unit’s APR Schedule that you have successfully completed.
  • Briefly describe plans for completing any outstanding follow-up activities listed on your Unit’s APR Schedule.

NEW CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES

  • Are there any new challenges or opportunities that have arisen since the previous outcome letter? If so, what steps are you taking to address them?

REQUEST TO CENTRAL LEADERSHIP

  • Are there ways in which campus leadership might further support your unit’s APR-related activities? If so, please describe specific requests in support of your goals.
